THE BASICS:

To watch films on our streaming platform, you will need to:

1. Create a free account – you must create a new login to access PAMMTV’s platform (even you are already a PAMM member). Click here to sign up for a new account.

2. Access internet connection – whether you’re watching on mobile, desktop, or TV, you will need to be connected to Wi-Fi via broadband or faster internet connection.

3. Choose a screen to watch on – you can stream films directly on your computer or laptop screen; cast from your computer or phone to a TV; connect your computer to a TV via an HDMI cable; or download our PAMMTV app, available for Apple TV via the App Store.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

You can watch on PCs running Windows 7+, and Macs running OSX 10.12+. You can also watch on iPhones and iPads using Safari, as well as Android tablets and phones using Chrome. We recommend downloading our PAMMTV app, available for Apple TV via the App Store.

You will need to be connected to the internet. Below you can find a detailed list of requirements at the bottom of this page.

HOW DO I WATCH PAMMTV?
You must create an account to access PAMMTV (irrespective of whether you are already a PAMM member). New users may register here by providing your name and e-mail address. Existing account holders can log in here.


I FORGOT MY PASSWORD. WHAT DO I DO?
If you can’t remember your account details, please navigate to forgot password.


DO I NEED TO BE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET TO WATCH A FILM ON PAMMTV?
A WiFi or 5G connection is required for streaming PAMMTV, whether you are watching on a mobile device, tablet, or computer. You will not be able to stream over 3G or 4G.


CAN I WATCH ON TV?
Yes, you can download our PAMMTV app, available for Apple TV via the App Store. Our platform supports tvOS 12.0 or later, as well as Airplay v4.0 or later to Apple TV. PAMMTV also supports casting from your computer or phone to a TV, as well as connecting your computer to a TV via an HDMI cable.

You may have up to three registered devices on your account but may only stream from one at a time. Devices can be removed in the My Devices section of your account.


CAN I CAST PAMMTV?
Our platform supports casting for mobile and computer browsers. You will need to be connected to Wi-Fi. We recommend using the latest version of your browser, as earlier versions may not be supported.

Google Chrome is not supported for Mac users. Please use your Mac’s native browser Safari. You can cast from a Chrome web browser on PCs as well as Android devices.


WHY DOES MY VIDEO STOP, OR NOT PLAY SMOOTHLY?
If your internet connection is poor or inconsistent you may experience problems during streaming. The streaming quality will automatically adjust based on your internet speed. You will need to be connected to Wi-Fi via broadband or faster. Please also see our troubleshooting guide below.


I CAN’T STREAM ANY PAMM.TV CONTENT, WHAT’S GOING ON?
We recommend that you update to the latest version of your browser and check your minimum system requirements below. Please also refer to our troubleshooting guide at the bottom of the page.


DO YOUR FILMS HAVE CAPTIONS AND SUBTITLES?
We are working to provide closed captions and subtitles in English, Spanish, and Haitian Kreyol for videos wherever possible. Please click on the ‘CC’ button in the playback window. When there is a tick next to the English option, the subtitles should appear. You may need to refresh your playback.


CAN I WATCH ON MULTIPLE DEVICES?
For security, you can only watch a film using your account on one device at one time. You may have up to three registered. Devices can be removed in the My Devices section of your account.


CAN I USE A VPN?
No. As part of our licensing restrictions, we prohibit the use of VPNs.




DETAILED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS


CAN I WATCH ON A WINDOWS COMPUTER?
Our platform supports PCs running Windows 7 and above. Earlier versions are not officially supported.

We recommend using the latest version of your browser, including Google Chrome v105 or above, Microsoft Edge v105 or above, Firefox v104 or above, and Opera v90 or above. Internet Explorer is no longer supported.


CAN I WATCH ON A MAC COMPUTER?
Our platform supports Macs running OSX 10.12 or later. Earlier versions are not officially supported.

We recommend using the most up-to-date Safari version for your device.


CAN I WATCH ON MY iPHONE/iPAD?
Yes, you can watch PAMMTV using Safari and Google Chrome v105 or above. This requires Wi-Fi connection and a device running iOS 11.2 or later. We recommend using the latest version of your Safari as earlier versions may not be supported.


CAN I WATCH ON MY ANDROID DEVICE?
Yes, you can watch PAMMTV using Chrome. This requires Wi-Fi connection and a device running Android 6.0 or later. We recommend using the latest version of your browser as earlier versions may not be supported.




TROUBLESHOOTING


For a guide to common platform error messages, please refer to this Shift 72 page.

Step 1: Restart your device (most issues can be solved by a restart). Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi.

Step 2: Make sure the browser is up to date. The platform won’t work in some older versions of browsers. Please see our detailed system requirements for more information.

Step 3: Make sure nothing else on the computer is using a lot of CPU or network bandwidth, e.g. downloading content.

Step 4: Turn off the ‘Adblocker’, as this can intercept and slow down network traffic.

Step 5: Try a different browser if you are on Windows or Mac. Different browsers use different DRM, so switching browsers can often solve an issue.

Step 6: If you are having issues with buffering, you can force the player to use a lower bitrate which should improve stability. To do this, select the ‘Auto’ button in the bottom right corner of the player and choose ‘Bitrate’ (for example, the 3.0 Mbs), as shown in the screenshot below.
